For runners who wear a WHOOP
Feel every mile.
PaceRelay buzzes your strap at each mile, at 5K, and when you drift off pace. Your phone stays in your pocket and your eyes stay on the road.
The buzz legend
Learn it in one run.
Every pattern is drawn to scale. A short buzz is 220 ms with 180 ms between them. A long buzz is 900 ms.
Prefer the same buzz every time? Fixed mode buzzes 1 to 5 times every quarter, half or full mile.
What it does
A watch's best tricks, on the strap you already wear.
Splits you can count
Mile 1 buzzes once, mile 2 twice, up to seven. You know where you are without looking.
Race distances
5K and the half marathon each get their own pattern, so a PR attempt feels different.
Pace alert
Set a target pace. Fall behind it for 30 seconds and your wrist taps three times.
Texts and calls Android
A buzz when a message or call comes in mid-run, so you know whether to stop.
Heart rate and Strava
The strap's heart rate is recorded with your route, and the run uploads to Strava when you finish.
Home screen widget Android
This week's miles and a Start button. Live time and distance while you run.
Questions
Before you sign up.
- Do I need a watch?
- No. Your phone tracks the run with GPS, and the strap does the buzzing.
- Which straps work?
- PaceRelay is tested on WHOOP MG. We'll confirm other models before launch.
- Is there an iPhone version?
- Android comes first. iPhone can't pass along text and call buzzes, but everything else carries over. Pick iPhone above so we know you're waiting.
- Is this a WHOOP app?
- No. PaceRelay is an independent app. It isn't made, endorsed or supported by WHOOP.
